Help with training for 800m?

Those were about my times in high school except for I only got my 800 down to 1:58, but anyway, if you really want to work hard at it you should do a speed workout on MWF and on Tuesday do a 45 minute run with a 1 minute surge every 5 minutes, on Thursday do a 3-5 mile tempo run, take saturday off, then do an easy distance run on sunday. For speed workouts do 8-10 400m repeats and keep the 400's around 65 seconds each with a 1:30-2:00 break in between. On one of the other speed days do a ladder workout which is a 200, 400, 800, 1200, 800, 400, 200 with a 1:30-2:00 break in between.
