Recommend some new guitar oriented music for me please?

Songs with nice riffs, I don't really know how to say it but songs like Slow Dancing In A Burning Room by John Mayer, Gentle Lie by Gazette, Super Stupid by Funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix stuff. I know that's a whoe lot of different stuff but if you know what I mean, like the jazzy kind of music but not really jazz? :S I'd really appreciate it if you can help me.
