How do you teleport on RuneScape?

I am really stumped here! My sister and I want to go on journeys together and we want to go far away. Well we can't really do that without teleportation. Specially since there are islands that we want to visit. Do you have to be a member to do this? We are already in Lumbridge and have completed the tutorial. So please help me! PLEASE
